This weekend we welcome the annual 30AWineFestival back to Alys Beach. Running until Sunday evening, guests and visitors will be able to sample, swill and spit some of the most celebrated reds, whites and roses from across the country and beyond.
The 30A Wine Festival, now in its ninth year, is also a great fundraiser for our community. The event raises thousands of dollars for Children’s Volunteer Health Network (CVHN) which provides free dental and health care check-ups for some of the area’s most needy young people.
In addition to wine tastings and discussions with master vintners, visitors will be able to meet local brewers, distillers and chefs who will be sharing their aged bourbons, craft beers and delicious plates of food with festival-goers.
And 30A Wine Festival has its legendary Silent Auction where guests can bid on exclusive prizes and gifts in support of CVHN. Invitations to tastings, visits to wine country, private chefs and events, as well as bottles and bottles of rare vintage wines and champagnes have all been star prizes at previous festivals.
Guests will also get the opportunity to see the remarkable developments taking shape in Alys Beach, one of 30A's most luxurious communities. As well as new waterfront properties and the beautiful Moroccan-inspired courtyard homes Alys Beach is renowned for, there are also new additions like The Lucien Building condominiums in the heart of the town centre and construction of the exclusive Alys Beach Club is also nearing completion.
“Alys Beach is one of the stars of the New Urbanism movement on 30A” says realtor Martin Liptrot. “It is one of our most walkable communities, with secret gardens and courtyards, pools and water features around every turn. With its beach club and developing town centre it is an attractive and upscale place to live or spend vacations.”
“I’m sure guests will enjoy the 30A Wine Festival this weekend. It is one of the standout events in our community – celebrating the best of what living along 30A is all about – meeting friends old and new, sampling some of the best food and drink anywhere in the country, and giving a little back by contributing to a good cause.”
